Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 September 2026
The service
MaybeYay provides one personalised interactive invitation for the one-time price shown at checkout (currently displayed as €3.99; the amount charged is the Stripe price configured for the service).
No account
You do not need a user account. After payment we email you the invitation link and a signed management link. Keep those links private.
After you pay
A successful payment, confirmed by Stripe to our servers, activates the invitation. Cancelling Checkout before you pay leaves no charge and no active invitation. If Checkout is cancelled we return you to the review screen.
Your content
You are responsible for the names, message, dates, times and any other details you submit. You confirm that you have the right to use them and that they are accurate enough for the invitation.
Prohibited use
You must not use MaybeYay to harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone, to send spam, or to submit unlawful or abusive content.
Private links
The invitation URL is unguessable in ordinary use, but it is not a locked account. Anyone with the link can open the invitation. You decide who receives it.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, instant email delivery, or that a particular device or browser will always work. Brief interruptions and reasonable technical limits may occur.
Intellectual property
MaybeYay’s design, wording and software belong to Georgia Thanou. You keep the text you type. You give us a limited licence to host and display that text so we can deliver the invitation.
Removal
We may suspend or remove an invitation that appears unlawful, abusive or harmful, or that puts the service at risk. Where we can, we will tell the creator using the email we have.
Liability
If something goes wrong that is our fault, we will take reasonable steps to put it right — for example by activating a paid invitation that failed to activate, or by refunding a charge that should not have been taken. We are not responsible for how a recipient reacts, for messages you choose to write, or for losses we could not reasonably foresee.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Greece, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence say otherwise. Those mandatory rights are not excluded.
